(Image credit: Getty Images)Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) CEO Greg Abel doesn’t sound like he intends to mess with the success that Warren Buffett and the late Charlie Munger built over more than six decades. That said, the holding company’s new chief likely won’t have the same kind of leeway with the market that his predecessor did. Under Buffett, Berkshire’s returns nearly doubled those of the S&P 500 since 1965, with a compound annual growth rate of 19.7% vs 10.5% for the benchmark index. When you generate that sort of outperformance, folks tend to give you the benefit of the doubt.Which is why…

De-risking is about planning ahead. “After the risk has happened, it’s too late,” says Tim Steffen, director of advanced planning in the wealth management division of investment firm…
(Image credit: Getty Images)Editor’s note: This is the first article in a two-part series on how to deal with a concentrated stock position. The second article looks at five more ways to manage it.A childhood friend recently called me, looking for some guidance post-IPO of the company she joined as an early employee. A dream!Employee stock used to be the most common reason I saw concentrated stock positions. But things have changed in the past four years as tech titans have challenged conventional wisdom about just how much money one company can make, powering the secular bull market we have…

In the U.S., discussions about top camera phones largely center around iPhones, the Samsung Galaxy series, and, lately, the Google Pixel. In contrast, people in Asia and parts of Europe get a wider range of choice with companies like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo upping their camera game. The camera has tons of…
