“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards is preparing for an exciting new chapter in her family’s life after her eldest daughter, real estate agent Farrah Aldjufrie, announced that she is expecting her first child.
The 37-year-old property mogul shared the news on social media on July 3, posting a series of photos that showcased her growing baby bump alongside ultrasound images.
In the caption, Farrah described the baby news as her “most exciting launch yet,” revealing that she is due to welcome her little one in late November.
“My most exciting launch yet. Coming soon late November 2026,” she captioned the image. Farrah, who ended an engagement to her former partner, Alex Manos, in March 2024, has not revealed the identity of her baby’s father.
The announcement means Richards will become a grandmother for the first time—a milestone that prompted an emotional response from the longtime “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star.
“I can’t wait for this new chapter!! I love you so much Fairy!” the reality TV star commented on her daughter’s announcement.
Richards’ estranged second husband, The Agency founder Mauricio Umansky, also expressed his delight at the news—making clear his continued bond with his stepdaughter, who works as a founding partner at his real estate brokerage.
Though Richards shares Farrah with her first spouse, Guraish Aldjufrie, Umansky has helped to raise her since she was a young girl, and the two remain very close.
“You are gorgeous and I’m so happy for all of us and this baby is going to be so loved,” Umansky wrote. “I can’t wait wooohooo.”
Farrah also shared a glimpse of the moment she revealed the news to her sisters—Alexia Umansky, Portia Umansky, and Sophia Umansky—posting a clip from the FaceTime call during which she shared her pregnancy announcement, even receiving a notification from Realtor.com® in the process.
Upon hearing the news, the siblings burst into tears and were left speechless.
Richards, who joined Farrah for the FaceTime call, was also seen opening up to her other daughters about how she learned of the pregnancy, while the expectant mother’s positive tests could be seen scattered on the table in front of her.
“I was like, ‘I need to call Farrah, I need to catch up with her, I need to get an update on her life, even though we just did a big update the other day. But I needed a new update,'” Kyle explained.
“So then I was waiting, my phone rang a few times, whatever, I was about to call her, and then she sent me a text, and I was like, ‘That’s so weird.’ And I even said to you, ‘That’s so weird, I was just going to call you.’ And then she said, ‘I’m pregnant.'”
The expectant mother captioned the clip, “Telling my sisters.”
Farrah, who has built her own career in luxury real estate and has appeared alongside her family on reality TV, has long worked within The Agency, the brokerage founded by Umansky.
The pregnancy marks a joyful personal milestone for the real estate mogul, whose professional achievements have often played out in front of TV audiences.
Farrah has previously revealed how Umansky helped to cultivate her love of real estate, revealing in a 2016 interview with The Daily Dish that she used to drive around to different listed properties in L.A. with her stepfather as a child and was fascinated by everything that went into selling them.
“I always have been interested in real estate since I was a little kid. I’d drive around to open houses with my mom and Mauricio when I was 6, 7, 8 years old. I’d love to see all the houses,” she said.
“I know L.A. geographically really, really well, having grown up here. I was an only child for the first eight years, so I spent a lot of time with them and was very interested in everything Mauricio was doing. But I have my own love for property and being in L.A., there’s some of the most amazing properties and lifestyles in the world.”
According to her profile on The Agency’s website, Farrah first became an agent in 2013—and has since helped the company to achieve “over $5 billion in real estate sales.”
Interestingly, while she continues her professional and personal relationship with The Agency’s founder, Umansky, her mother made clear just a few months ago that she believes she is entitled to a significant chunk of her estranged husband’s empire—telling her Bravo co-stars that she will fight to claim her half of the business that she says she helped to build should the couple end up filing for divorce.
Richards, who separated from the 56-year-old real estate tycoon in July 2023, was questioned about why she and Umansky have yet to make their split legal during the second part of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 15 reunion in April, according to a clip shared by E! News.
When asked by host Andy Cohen whether she plans to file for divorce anytime soon, the reality TV star admitted that she is worried about how that might “change” their current dynamic, in which they are peacefully coexisting without any legal complications.
That’s not to say that Richards hasn’t thought about what demands she might make if they do decide to go ahead with the divorce, emphasizing to Cohen and her co-stars that she considers The Agency to be a shared asset, noting that she and Umansky “built” their lives—and wealth—together.
“Will you be asking for half of The Agency?” Cohen asked.
Richards quickly responded: “Well, it’s mine. Half of it is mine.”
Richards’ sister Kathy Hilton then chimed in to question whether Umansky is aware of his estranged wife’s feelings on the matter.
“Does he realize that?” she asked.
While Richards did not reveal whether she has discussed the matter with Umansky, she was quick to double down on her feelings about it.
“We built our lives together,” Richards told Hilton. “He literally had two nickels when I married him.”
Her co-star Amanda Francis chimed in to back her up, noting that Richards’ reality TV fame had also helped to increase the prominence of The Agency, stating: “He also launched it on your show.”
Richards did note that any division of assets will have to be hashed out and agreed upon by herself and Umansky, who did not get a prenup before tying the knot in 1996, although she fired back at Sutton Stracke‘s warning that “money changes things, especially men.”
“It doesn’t change that half is mine,” she said. “Obviously, there’s no prenup. We didn’t have anything. We were in a two-bedroom apartment with three kids.”
Umansky founded The Agency alongside Billy Rose and Blair Chang in 2011, 15 years after he wed Richards—and by May 2022, the business had facilitated more than $57 billion worth of real estate sales, according to Forbes.
According to The Agency’s website, the company currently operates more than 145 offices in 14 countries, while Umansky’s bio notes that he has “achieved nearly $5 billion in real estate sales and holds the distinction of selling the most homes in the country priced above $20 million.
“He has represented some of the world’s most noteworthy properties, including the Playboy Mansion—the first house in L.A. to sell above the $100 million mark—the Walt Disney Estate, and residences owned by Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan and Prince.”
Indeed, in the 15 years since it was founded, The Agency has built up a wealth of clients, working with the likes of Lady Gaga, LeBron James, and Ben Affleck.
While it’s unclear whether Richards would seek to be involved in the day-to-day running of the business that she hopes to claim a 50% share in, it’s likely that she could be in line for a hefty payout if Umansky wishes to keep The Agency to himself.
However, Richards noted that she isn’t quite ready to pull the plug on their marriage once and for all.
She told Cohen that there was a reason that she hadn’t filed for divorce just yet, admitting that she enjoys the relationship that they currently share, explaining that they are still very happily living together, despite ending their romance.
“It’s just not knowing what you want, and I like the way it is,” she explained. “The way we can have dinner, and he goes to his room, I go to my room. We wake up, have coffee in the morning, talk about what we’re going to do, we go skiing.”
Richards previously denied speculation that she and Umansky were rekindling their romance, after reports began to surface at the start of the year that a reunion was blossoming between the two during one of those aforementioned ski trips.
