July 4th deal: For July 4th weekend, Best Buy is selling the GoPro Hero13 Black Action Bundle for $380 — $100 off its usual price.

Also: The best July 4th deals

Like its predecessors, the GoPro Hero 13 Black is small and light enough to carry anywhere. At 5.6 ounces, it’s easy to mount on a helmet, your body, or a vehicle. Even though it’s a few years old, it’s still a great option for documenting summer travels and adventures.

Also: I tested the modular GoPro Hero 13 Black, and it’s a fantastic travel camera

The Hero 13 keeps the durable build of predecessors that’s capable of withstanding hits and drops, making it rugged and ready to go.

The Hero 13 maxes out at 5.3K resolution. One of the advantages of having a GoPro is Log video support. It allows you to handle color grading in post-production software. GoPro has also updated its HDR support to HLG HDR, which offers better compatibility with non-wide-color-gamut displays.

This bundle from Best Buy includes the HERO13 Black Camera, a floating hand grip, two batteries, two adhesive mounts, a 64GB SanDisk Micro SD Card, a mounting buckle + thumb screw, a USB-C cable, and a compact carrying case.

Also: Is GoPro’s cheaper $200 4K action camera worth it? Only if these features matter to you

If you are looking for your first action camera, the GoPro Hero 13 Black is a good choice, especially at this bundle price.

    How I rated this deal

Based on ZDNET’s deal-rating system, these 20% savings warrant a 3/5 Editor’s deal rating. We don’t often see a discount on this GoPro bundle.

    When will this deal expire?

This deal is specific to Best Buy’s July 4th sale, so I anticipate the pricing to end shortly after the holiday weekend comes to a close.
