“The line between old and new really vanishes in the craftsmanship of this home,” says Boucher. “The home has an aged patina that blends with the coal sheds. The sellers reimagined this creation and have lived there ever since.”
Outside, two creekside patios create private gathering spaces, including one with a large hot tub overlooking the water. The combination of mature landscaping, split-rail fencing, and the soothing sounds of Coal Creek creates a setting that feels worlds away from town.
The alley location only adds to the appeal, placing the home within an easy stroll of downtown while also protecting it from the traffic, tourists, and bustle that come with living in one of Colorado’s most beloved mountain destinations.
“The home and location are very private for in-town living, yet it’s only a two-block walk or pedal to vibrant Elk Avenue dining, shopping, and nightlife,” says Boucher.
“The free ski shuttle stop is just a block away, and the famous Woods Walk foot and bike trailhead is also nearby.”
