“Family Feud” host Steve Harvey has cut the price of his longtime Georgia home—just four months after listing the enormous abode for $5.1 million.
Harvey, 69, was born in West Virginia but has been based outside of Atlanta for many years now, filming his popular “Family Feud” series at a studio in Fayetteville, which is about an hour away from his listed Sandy Springs home.
The popular TV host purchased the six-bedroom manse for $3.38 million in 2010 and it remained his primary residence for around a decade, before he upgraded to an even larger estate that her purchased from fellow Hollywood superstar Tyler Perry for $15 million in 2020.
Six years after making that move, Harvey put his former Georgia residence on the market, with records showing that it was first listed on Jan. 12 of this year. Now, just four months later, he has cut his ask by $350,000, bringing the price down to $4.75 million.
The property—which is registered to a trust in Harvey’s name—is described in its listing as a “European-inspired architectural masterpiece” that is perched atop “a private, elevated setting overlooking the Chattahoochee River.”
Boasting close to 17,700 square feet of living space, the dwelling sits behind tall metal gates and boasts a very regal aesthetic, with a large turret-style structure at the front of the property providing a taste of the luxury that can be found inside.
“Evoking the ambiance of a secluded European retreat, the home seamlessly blends luxury, nature, and craftsmanship,” the listing continues. “From arrival, the stately facade, dramatic architectural lines, and sweeping sight lines create a striking first impression.”
One of the most dramatic spaces found on the main level is a stunning double-height great room with soaring ceilings and enormous windows that overlook the property’s picturesque 1.68-acre parcel—and offer incredible views of Atlanta.
That story is also home to a very spacious kitchen with a large island, top-of-the-line appliances, and its own cozy sitting area, complete with a fireplace. For more formal occasions, the property also boasts an enormous dining room.
A separate, more casual dining area can also be found just off the great room, providing the perfect place for a laid-back breakfast, or a morning coffee.
However, there are also several other more unique entertaining spaces found throughout the home, particularly on the lower level, which encompasses “a private theater, temperature-controlled wine cellar, fitness studio, and spa-inspired steam room.”

Remarkably, given all that is on offer at his former residence, Harvey’s new Georgia abode, which is located just 18 miles away, boasts an even more impressive spread of features—and is almost double the size of his previous dwelling.
Harvey purchased his larger residence from Louisiana native Perry, who had the property custom-built in 2007.
Located on a 17-acre parcel on the edge of the Chattahoochee River, the expansive nine-bedroom estate was described as “perhaps the most compelling private residence to ever be offered in the history of Atlanta,” when it was put on the market back in 2019.
Perry gave Harvey something of a deal in the sale of the dwelling, which had previously been listed for $21 million—$6 million less than the TV host ended up paying.
The amenity-packed property features a spread of resort-level features, including a tennis court, a gym, a spa, an infinity-edge pool, an underground ballroom, a guard house, a caretaker’s suite, a movie theater, and “a presidential-level security system.”
Harvey’s home is not the only tie he has to Perry; in 2024, the TV host revealed that his popular “Family Feud” game show was relocating from Los Angeles back to Atlanta, where it now shoots at the Tyler Perry Studios.
