From Mark Zuckerberg to Chuck Norris, March’s Biggest A-List News Revealed

March was a whirlwind of celebrity news—particularly when it came to real estate.

Mark Zuckerberg kicked off the month in extravagant style when it was revealed that he had dropped a staggering $170 million on a brand-new megamansion on Florida’s famed “Billionaire Bunker,” setting a new Miami-Dade County record in the process.

The nine-bedroom, 11.5-bathroom property was originally put on the market for the even higher price of $200 million in November 2025, despite being only partly built.

Zuckerberg’s purchase of the property, which closed on March 2, according to records, marks the most expensive residential real estate transaction ever completed in Miami-Dade County—and it is also one of the priciest homes ever sold in the U.S.

However, it is still a ways off from the official national record, which is currently held by billionaire Ken Griffin, who claimed the title when he snapped up a New York City penthouse for $238 million in 2019. The most expensive home ever sold in Florida—a $225 million waterfront compound in Naples—changed hands in April 2025.

It will be some time before Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, can move into the home, however, with construction on the opulent abode still ongoing. Renderings shared with the listing have revealed an extraordinary glimpse at the luxury they will enjoy when their new dwelling is completed.

While the Facebook billionaire is laying down new roots, another star is yanking them up.

Actress Drew Barrymore is parting ways with her historical Westchester, NY, retreat after putting the sprawling abode on the market for $4.99 million—just two years after she bought it.

Barrymore, 51, snapped up the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom property for $4.4 million in 2024, according to property records. She then spent more than a year pouring even more money into an extensive renovation of the abode, which she admitted was in much rougher shape than she had initially anticipated.

Because the overhaul took much longer than she had anticipated, she could not have foreseen how the needs of her family would change during that time, leaving her without a real need for the countryside sanctuary.

Perhaps one of the most heartbreaking stories to emerge in March was the news that legendary actor and martial arts expert Chuck Norris had died at the age of 86, just hours after it was revealed that he had been hospitalized during a vacation at his beloved Hawaii retreat.

Norris appears to have been staying at his property on Kauai’s North Shore for a few days before his hospitalization, even sharing an Instagram video of himself getting in some boxing training on the grounds of his home on March 10—the date of his 86th birthday.

The actor’s 4,500-square-foot home in Hawaii had long been used as a retreat by the actor and his family, offering plenty of room for them to rest and relax—including three bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Known as Paradise Island Ranch, the property is located just a 10-minute drive from the nearest beach and offers stunning views of the lush landscape that surrounds it.
