(World Oil)– Baker Hughes has received a significant order for 25 aeroderivative gas turbines from U.S.-based Dynamis Power Solutions, expanding the energy technology company’s footprint in mobile power systems used across upstream, refining and petrochemical operations.

The order—booked in the third quarter of 2025—includes LM2500, LM6000 and LM9000 gas turbines, totaling 1.3 GW of generation capacity. The equipment will be integrated into Dynamis’ fleet of mobile power units, which are deployed in regions where reliable on-site power is essential for drilling, production, and processing activities.

A key component of the deal is Dynamis’ adoption of 10 LM9000 gas turbines, which will anchor a new high-capacity mobile system the company calls the DT70, rated at 70 MW. According to Dynamis, the DT70 is designed to deliver the highest reported mobile power density available to oil and gas operators, doubling the output of its existing DT35 units.

Baker Hughes Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli said the growing demand for reliable, quickly deployable power is reshaping needs across the industry. “As energy demand continues to expand, our sector needs new forms of collaboration to provide flexible, efficient power solutions,” he said. “We are pleased to continue our work with Dynamis to support customers across a wide range of oil and gas applications.”

Dynamis packages turbines and generators into mobile units used in remote or power-constrained environments, and its existing DT35 system has been deployed at more than 1,200 locations in North America over the past decade. The company said the new DT70 configuration—enabled by the LM9000’s higher output—will offer operators greater versatility for large power loads, shorter setup times, and improved operational resilience.

The DT70 is available for order now, and Dynamis plans to target oil and gas customers seeking fast, onsite access to gas-fired power across drilling, completion, midstream and downstream operations
