Maverick’s customers collectively represent $6.5 billion in annual sales volume, according to the company.
The new board members are:
- Laura O’Connor — most recently president and chief operating officer at JPAR Real Estate.
- Ruel Macaraeg — senior manager of private equity AI and data at Ernst & Young and a technology advisor with Equity Angels.
- Marci James — a former marketing and outreach leader with Realtor.com and the National Association of Realtors.

Industry turnover has long challenged brokerages, with agent departures costing billions in commissions annually. Maverick Systems says its platform uses analytics to help brokerages recruit and retain agents.
