If you’ve been considering a Sam’s Club membership, this may be the best deal you’ll see all year.

Through July 5, new members can sign up for a standard Sam’s Club membership for just $15 for the first year, a $45 discount from the regular $60 annual fee. Shoppers who want additional perks can join Sam’s Plus for $50 for the first year, saving $50 off the regular price.

The promotion comes just weeks after Sam’s Club raised membership prices, making the discount even more attractive for shoppers considering a warehouse club membership. Whether you’re stocking up on groceries, filling up at member-priced gas stations or preparing for summer entertaining, the deal lowers the cost of trying Sam’s Club while giving shoppers access to a range of member benefits.

The standard Club membership is designed for shoppers who want access to warehouse pricing without paying for premium perks.

    For $15, members receive:

    • Member-only pricing throughout the warehouse
    • Discounted fuel at Sam’s Club gas stations
    • Scan & Go checkout through the Sam’s Club app
    • Free curbside pickup on eligible orders
    • Two membership cards per household
    • Access to Instant Savings offers

If your primary goal is saving money on groceries, household essentials, seasonal items and gas, the $15 introductory offer may be all you need.

Sam’s Plus membership: $50 for the first year

Frequent Sam’s Club shoppers may find additional value in the Plus membership, which is currently discounted to $50 for the first year.

The Plus membership includes all Club-level benefits, plus:

    • 2% Sam’s Cash back on eligible purchases
    • Free shipping on eligible orders over $50
    • Free same-day or next-day delivery on eligible orders over $50
    • Exclusive shopping hours from 8 to 9 a.m. every day
    • Additional pharmacy savings
    • Additional optical savings
    • Tire and battery center discounts

The extra perks can help offset the higher membership cost, particularly for shoppers who regularly place online orders, use pharmacy or optical services or spend enough to earn Sam’s Cash rewards.

Is the Sam’s Club deal worth it?

At $15, the standard membership is one of the lowest-priced warehouse club promotions currently available and offers a low-risk way to test whether Sam’s Club fits your shopping habits.

The Plus membership requires a larger upfront investment, but shoppers who frequently use delivery services, earn Sam’s Cash rewards or take advantage of pharmacy and optical savings may find the upgraded membership pays for itself over the course of the year.

The limited-time promotion ends July 5 and is available only to eligible new members.
