HGTV star Christina Haack has yanked her sprawling Tennessee farmhouse from the market—less than two weeks after putting the dwelling up for sale and for rent.
On June 9, the 42-year-old TV personality listed the elegant abode for $5.3 million. Just one day later, the property also became available for rent for $20,000 a month.
However, Realtor.com® can exclusively reveal that Haack has quietly withdrawn the property from both the sales and rental markets just weeks after listing it, offering no clue as to why.
It comes just over a year after Haack claimed full ownership of the property, which had previously been at the center of a bitter divorce battle between the renovation expert and her third husband, Josh Hall. Hall moved into the home after they split—and later tried to block Haack from trying to sell it.
Haack first listed the property for sale in October 2024, only to take it off the market three weeks later, when it was revealed that Hall, 45, had filed a temporary emergency order to try to halt the sale of the home, which is known as Parker Branch.
In the order, Hall claimed the property was put up for sale without his consent, insisting that, while his estranged spouse had bought the home before they were married, the “paydown of the mortgage during marriage” entitled him to a say in what happened to it.
As their ugly divorce battle waged on, the six-bedroom, six-bathroom reappeared on the market in December 2024, with the same $4.5 million asking price, only to be taken down again in February 2025.
In August 2025, the couple’s divorce was finally settled, with each waiving their right to spousal support. The HGTV star agreed to pay Hall an equalization payment of $300,000. In return, she was given full control of their home in Newport Beach, CA, where she lives full time, and the Franklin farmhouse.
Hall, meanwhile, kept his own dwelling in Thompson’s Station, TN.
Nearly a year after their divorce was signed off by a judge, Haack seemed ready to return to the real estate market with gusto, relisting her Tennessee abode with the same agent—her close friend Kelly Doughterty of Onward Real Estate.
Much of the listing remained as it appeared when the home was first listed. The 5,200-square-foot dwelling on 23.82 acres is once again described as a “fabulous modern farmhouse,” while its appearance on Haack’s HGTV show, “Christina on the Coast,” is also mentioned.
The description called attention to the many features in the home, which Haack extensively renovated after buying the property for $2.5 million in February 2021.
Among the more impressive indoor amenities are a stunning wood-burning fireplace in the living room, an “open and bright kitchen,” wood floors, and a “generous owner’s retreat with his-and-hers closets,” as well as an enormous primary bathroom with a freestanding tub.
“Amazing touches throughout with beams, natural stone and [a] dutch door,” the listing noted.
Images revealed the impressive attention to detail that was paid during the overhaul of the abode, which features exposed brick and enormous windows that flood the main living areas with light.
When the dwelling was originally listed, its many elegant features were somewhat overshadowed by the furious battle between Haack and Hall, who announced in July 2024 that they were divorcing after less than three years of marriage.
As part of a temporary settlement put in place in September 2024, Hall was granted full use of the Tennessee property, provided he did not rent it out to anyone else, while Haack took full control of their $12 million Newport Beach home, which they purchased together.
However, that didn’t stop Haack from trying to find a buyer for the property, prompting outrage from her estranged spouse, who claimed he had been forced to relocate to another dwelling in Tennessee as a result of the home’s listing.
He claimed in court documents that the move had increased his living expenses, alleging that he was “suffering prejudice” as a result of Haack’s decision to try to sell her home.
“The community maintains an appreciation interest due to the paydown of the mortgage during marriage,” he wrote. “A premature sale may result in prejudice to me as property values continue to rise in Tennessee, which continues to grow in population.
“My relocation to Tennessee was significantly influenced by our aforementioned Stipulation allowing me to enjoy this property throughout our separation. I will now suffer prejudice because my living expenses will undoubtedly increase.”
He filed his temporary emergency order just days after the home was listed on Oct. 5—and the property was taken off the market exactly three weeks later. It is unclear whether Haack was ordered by a judge to remove the listing or if she made the decision of her own accord.
In summer 2025, Haack and Hall finally settled their fierce feud; however, both parties expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome.
At the time, Haack laid bare her disappointment, hinting that she felt “screwed” by the agreement they finally reached—nearly a year after they split.
While speaking on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live,” she confessed to host Jeff Lewis that she “signed something” to be rid of the drama with her ex for good.
“I signed something. There’s like a process after the process. It was resolved in mediation after, I think, 12 hours,” she explained.
When Lewis asked the home pro if she was happy with the settlement, she said that she wasn’t interested in divulging all the details, but hinted that she was not thrilled with the final agreement.
“I heard a saying once, like, if you both think you’re screwed … I don’t know how it goes,” she said. “Look, it’s not great, but I guess it’s done.”
Co-host Shane Douglas clarified the phrase: “If both parties are equally unhappy after the negotiation, then you got what you want.”
After the settlement, a representative for Haack told Us Weekly, “Christina is pleased to confirm that a settlement has been reached through mediation. She extends her sincere appreciation to her attorney, Laura Wasser, and her team for their professional guidance and support throughout the process.”
The HGTV star also praised her legal team on her social media.
“You are all a true class act. I loved watching you in action and how you handle everything and everyone with class and grace. I appreciate you all beyond words. I have learned so much under your guidance,” Haack said on her Instagram Story.
