Pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez celebrated Memorial Day Weekend in true style—by spending a fun-filled day wth her children and loved ones around the swimming pool at her newly renovated $18 million Hidden Hills, CA, mansion.
Lopez, 56, who is in the midst of promoting her latest on-screen project, “Office Romance,” in which she stars with “Ted Lasso” actor Brett Goldstein, took some time out of her busy schedule to host her family and friends at her new abode—which she purchased for $17.5 million in February 2025, not long after finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck.
The “Get Loud” singer shared a series of photos and videos from her weekend on Instagram, revealing a glimpse at her picturesque property and the multiple renovations she has carried out since buying it more than one year ago.
Several of the videos and photos showed Lopez sporting a white bikini while tanning in and around her elegant swimming pool, including a couple in which she was pictured lounging on different floaties, from a pink-and-white striped ring to a large inflatable bed.
Another snap showed her perched on the edge of her built-in spa with a drink alongside her, while her family and friends could be seen laying on the pink striped loungers that have been arranged around the pool.
Lopez has also added a few tables and chairs to the poolside area, as well as several umbrellas to provide shade in the scorching L.A. heat—with her Instagram carousel revealing that she has removed the paved slabs that once surrounded the water in order to cover the entire lounging area with grass.
Having spent ample time soaking up the sun, the mother of two welcomed her family inside the poolside cabana for a meal, with videos showing the group crowded around a large dining table in the space and having a singalong session.
The group tackled Bonnie Tyler‘s “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” with Lopez leading the singing as her family and friends joined in—while waving their napkins in the air and banging on the tables.
Lopez was joined by several friends and relatives for the celebration, including her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, whom she shares with her former spouse, Marc Anthony.
And in addition to renovating the poolside area, it appears Lopez also carried out a significant overhaul of the cabana, which previously featured exposed dark wood beams, a large stone fireplace, a black-and-white tiled grill area, and beige limewashed walls.
However, Lopez’s newly renovated space has a much brighter color palette, with a marble fireplace, pale green walls, gold chandeliers, and painted beams.
It’s thought that the actress has only just completed renovations on the property, which was still undergoing major work at the end of 2025.
While that work was carried out, Lopez spent at least some of the time living at the expansive Beverly Hills mansion she and Affleck shared during their short marriage—a property that they spent more than a year trying to sell, before the “Good Will Hunting” actor transferred his share of the residence to his former spouse earlier this year.
The duo initially listed the property for sale in July 2024, days before their divorce was made public, with an asking price of $68 million, nearly $8 million more than the $60.8 million they had paid for it just one year prior.
However, the mansion struggled to find a buyer, and they were forced to cut their ask several times, ultimately dropping it to $52 million in September 2025, before delisting the home altogether.
After Affleck gifted his portion of the home to Lopez, she relisted the dwelling earlier this month, this time with an even lower price of $49.99 million.
As for her new abode, while it is a far cry from the $68 million modern megamansion she shared with Affleck, that was outfitted with every bell and whistle imaginable, it still has plenty to offer, including ample privacy, which was likely top of mind for the starlet when it came to finding a new home.
The property spanned more than 8,600 square feet when Lopez purchased it; however, she is understood to have added even more space to the property during her renovations. It is made up of a main residence, a guesthouse, pool house, and a five-stall barn complete with a tack room and a private equestrian arena.
Inside the main home there were five en suite bedrooms, including a “sumptuous master suite,” which boasted dual walk-in closets, a wet bar, a private balcony, and an incredible bathroom worthy of a five-star resort that boasts a steam shower and an enormous bathtub.
Should the bedrooms in the main house be occupied, guests need only travel a few quick steps to the guesthouse, where there is another bedroom, as well as a kitchen area and a living space with its own fireplace.

Lopez will have ample opportunity to enjoy the verdant surroundings in Hidden Hills, courtesy of her new home’s “lushly landscaped private grounds,” which include “spectacular orchards with multiple fruit trees,” as well as staggering views.
Every exterior structure, from the guesthouse to the barn, has been renovated to ensure that they offer the same opulent luxury as the main residence.
The home’s location inside a guard-gated community will also offer Lopez plenty of security, helping to protect her and her children from prying eyes.
For added peace of mind, the dwelling is also equipped with a smart home system that enables her to control every aspect of her experience at the push of a button, from music to temperature to security cameras.
Described in its listing as being “one of the most unique, special and private properties in all of Hidden Hills,” the home also features a private movie theater room, a gourmet kitchen, and a massage room.
