Chase is offering two IHG credit card bonuses for a limited time:

    • : Earn 90,000 Bonus Points after spending $2,000 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening and up to 30,000 more points by earning 3 additional points in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that earn 2x and 3x on up to $10,000 spent.

    • : Earn 175,000 Bonus Points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

Both cards are offering valuable bonuses, but we think the IHG One Rewards Premier is the better offer considering its simplicity. It’s also a much more rewarding card with its enhanced benefits, including an anniversary free night at IHG Hotels & Resorts.

Earn up to 120,000 bonus points — earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months, and up to 30,000 more points by earning 3x additional points on purchases in the first 6 months on up to $10,000 spent

    • Rewards rate

      • Up to 17x when you stay at IHG Hotels & Resorts
      • 3x on purchases on monthly bills, at gas stations, and restaurants
      • 2x on all other purchases
    • Benefits

      • $0 annual fee
      • Redeem 3 nights, get the 4th night free
      • Enjoy international travel without additional fees on purchases made abroad

Why we like it: The presents a low-cost option for earning IHG points on applicable hotel stays, as well as everyday spending. While this card doesn’t offer the benefit of an annual free night award, you can still take advantage of getting your fourth night free on award stays. Plus, you don’t have to worry about foreign transaction fees when traveling abroad.

    • Rewards rate

      • Up to 26x points at IHG hotels and resorts
      • 5x points on travel, dining, and at gas stations
      • 3x points on all other purchases
    • Benefits

      • Earn a free night on each account anniversary, plus get a fourth night free when you redeem your points for a consecutive four-night stay at IHG properties
      • Receive Global Entry, TSA PreCheck®, or NEXUS statement credit of up to $120 every 4 years as reimbursement for the application fee charged to your card
      • Access perks including free upgrades, welcome amenities, and guaranteed room availability when you book at least 72 hours in advance

Why we like it: In our opinion, the is one of the available if you’re loyal to the IHG hotel brand. The anniversary free night benefit alone is more than enough to offset the low annual fee, but you also get automatic Platinum Elite status and a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS statement credit of up to $120 every four years to cover application fees.
