    OnePlus 15

It’s a new year, which means new deals on brand-new products. OnePlus is kicking off 2026 with a limited-time promotion on its most recent flagship smartphone: the OnePlus 15. Currently, buyers are eligible for a $100 cashback bonus when purchasing the phone via trade-in. You can trade in any device, in any condition, and get that discount. You can also lower the price even further by trading in an eligible phone — for example, trading in an iPhone 17 could net you up to a $478 discount.

The OnePlus 15 is available in three colors: Infinite Black, Ultra Violet, and Sand Storm (silver). At the time of this writing, only the OnePlus 15 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is available.

In addition to the price cut, shoppers can choose one gift with purchase. Your options include:

    • A OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger
    • OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds in Lunar Radiance (white)
    • OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds in Midnight Opus (black)
    • A OnePlus Power of Community Duffel Bag in Silver
    • A OnePlus 15 Sandstone Magnetic Case
    • or a OnePlus 15 Aramid Fiber Magnetic Case.

The gift that I recommend to most is the OnePlus Buds Pro 3. They’re a great pair of premium earbuds, housing drivers tuned by high-end speaker brand Dynaudio to output rich sound. If you already own a pair, the magnetic charge or one of the cases makes a solid alternative.

The OnePlus 15 is a powerful flagship that leverages the brand’s core strengths: top-tier performance, long battery life, and speed. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, providing ultra-smooth visuals. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which can adeptly handle even the most demanding mobile games. Key gaming optimizations help maintain stable frame rates and keep temperatures under control. Combined with support for Wi-Fi 7 and OnePlus’ CPU Scheduler, it is one of the best-performing Androids available today, especially for power users.

    Review: OnePlus 15

Backing all that up is a massive 7,300mAh battery capable of lasting a full day of heavy usage. When it’s time to recharge, 80W wired charging delivers lightning-fast top-ups. The phone can go from 0 to 50% in roughly the time it takes to brush your teeth and wash your face.

I should point out that the cameras on the OnePlus 15 are a step down from the previous model. Notable, the flagship lacks the Hasselblad camera system found on the OnePlus 13, resulting in less advanced photography tech. To compensate, OnePlus leans on improved AI image processing and Qualcomm’s image signal processor. In good lighting, the results are impressive, with photographs having a solid balance of color and detail. However, the OnePlus 15 struggles in low-light environments as the sensors struggle to capture enough light for consistently sharp shots.

    How I rated this deal

As per ZDNET’s rating system, I give this OnePlus 15 deal a score of 3/5. That rating is only applicable if you choose the free earbuds, as those provide the most substantial value in the promotion. If you opt for any of the other gifts, the rating drops to 2/5. Whatever you choose, the OnePlus 15 is an excellent flagship Android, and it’s a slam dunk of a recommendation if you’re shopping for a new smartphone in 2026. However, don’t wait – free gifts are available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.

As per OnePlus, this deal ends on Jan. 16, 2026.
