If your family’s phones are overdue for an upgrade, Verizon’s newest four-line deal delivers serious savings. You can outfit the whole household with premium smartphones at one of the lowest monthly rates available.

Verizon is running a four-line promo, offering four free flagship smartphones when you sign up for four new lines under the Unlimited Welcome plan with Auto Pay. With this deal, you choose four of the same device, whether it’s the Apple iPhone 17 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S25 or Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. Saving money on some of the most popular smartphones.

It’s easy to take advantage of the deal, too, since there’s no trade-in required. While other retailers sometimes require you to send older phones back to get an upgrade, that’s not an issue with these Verizon deals.

    Verizon’s 4-line phone deal

When you sign up for four new lines through Verizon’s Unlimited Welcome & Auto Pay plan, you’ll pay $25 per line per month, or a total of $100 per month for all four lines, plus taxes and fees. You must sign up for auto pay and paper-free billing to get this deal.

Families of four or households with multiple lines can benefit most from this deal. Verizon’s offering multiple free premium devices at a low monthly line cost. For example, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro retails for $1,099.99, so you could get approximately $4,400 worth of phones for free through this deal.

New Verizon customers who are switching over from other carriers could save more than just the cost of the smartphones. The $25 per line cost is hard to beat, so if you’ve been paying more for multiple lines from other carriers, you could potentially cut your cell phone bill for the next three years.

Verizon’s deal is also appealing if you’re ready to upgrade an older iPhone or Android device but want to keep your old phone. And, if you don’t have a device to trade in at all, the fact that Verizon doesn’t require you to send in your old phone is another money-saving perk.

What you get — iPhone, Galaxy or Pixel on the house (sort of)

When you sign up for this deal, you can choose from these premium and popular devices:

The four phones are free, but you’ll be paying for each line for three years.

The fine print and what to watch out for

At a glance, this appears to be one of the best Verizon deals of the year, but it’s important to read the fine print and understand the potential downsides:

    • Four lines required: This deal requires you sign up for four lines, not just one or two. That’s a big commitment, so this deal is likely the best fit for families or groups.
    • Auto Pay and paperless billing: To take advantage of this deal, you must sign up for Auto Pay and paperless billing.
    • “Free” isn’t totally free: The phones are advertised as being free, but the plan is effectively applying bill credits to your account over time. This is common with carrier promos, but it’s still important to be aware of.
    • Long-term commitment: This deal provides you with billing credits over a 36-month period. If you cancel a line early, you may forfeit those credits and be responsible for the remaining balance on your account. This is standard for these types of incentives.
    • Data speed: You may experience variable data speed on the lowest-tier unlimited plan. When the network is congested, data may be deprioritized to higher-tier subscribers, so you could experience slower speeds.

Is this a better value than trading in or upgrading individually?

This Verizon deal could offer a better value for many families. Instead of paying full retail price for four phones, the deal spreads the cost across lines and credentials. That predictable monthly cost can make upgrading easier to budget for than buying new phones outright.

It’s easy to take advantage of the deal. There’s no need to worry about trade-in issues, like if your phone has a poor trade-in value or is in poor condition. Since you don’t have to trade in devices, there’s no shipping hassle to deal with, and you don’t have to wait for a credit for your old device.

If you don’t need four new phones, this deal may be less compelling and may offer less value. You could end up paying for lines or phones that you don’t need, so think carefully about whether the plan makes sense for you.

Additionally, the deal requires a long-term commitment, so you should be confident that you will stay with Verizon for at least three years.

What it means for families this holiday season

Verizon’s four-line deal is well-timed for the holiday season. Families can upgrade to new phones without paying full retail price, and the offer also works for gifting, whether parents are buying devices for kids or couples are upgrading together.

The newest phones come with better cameras and faster performance, helping households keep up with today’s technology.

How to evaluate if the deal fits your household

Ask yourself these questions to determine if this Verizon deal fits your household:

    • Do you have four people who need new phones (or want them)?
    • Are you okay committing to four new lines for at least 36 months?
    • Are you comfortable with Auto Pay?
    • Are you planning to stay with Verizon long-term (to keep bill-credit benefits)?

When Verizon’s four-line deal is a good fit

This Verizon deal offers strong value, but it’s not the right fit for everyone. This deal works best for families or multi-user households that want to upgrade together. It makes getting a premium phone for each person more affordable, and the lack of a trade-in requirement removes a common barrier for many households.

As long as you carefully weigh the three-year commitment and the plan details, this Verizon deal offers real value compared to buying phones at full retail price or upgrading one device at a time. Yes, it’s a big commitment, but it could pay off if you need four new devices and four lines soon.
