    When is Cyber Monday?

Black Friday 2025 was Friday, Nov. 28. Cyber Monday follows shortly after on Monday, Dec. 1.

When do Cyber Week deals start and end?

Black Friday deals at many retailers last far beyond the one day of shopping. Most Black Friday sales are already happening, and will last through Cyber Monday, Dec. 1, though some will come and go. Here are the current and upcoming sale dates from major retailers:

    • Amazon Black Friday Sale: Nov. 2 – Dec. 1.
    • Walmart Black Friday Sale: Nov. 25-30. Deals available online only from Nov. 25–27, followed by online and in stores from Nov. 28–30.
    • Best Buy Black Friday Sale: Nov. 20-29.
    • Target Black Friday Sale: Nov. 27-28.

What are the top 3 retailers to monitor during Cyber Monday?

We recommend keeping track of the deals happening at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy during Black Friday.

Are deals really cheaper during Cyber Week?

The holiday season, including Black Friday, is generally a great time to scoop up deals on a multitude of products, including flagship tech. While it’s true to shop smart you need to be aware of sly tactics like markups and faux discounts, price tracking tools like Keepa and CamelCamelCamel make it easier than ever to ensure you’re getting the best deal possible. Black Friday is also an excellent time to save on last year’s latest tech, as we’ve seen dozens of new releases in phones, TVs, laptops, tablets and more over the last 6 months.

Can you return your Black Friday purchases?

Typically, yes, you can return your unused Black Friday purchases, particularly when they come from a major retailer like Amazon or Walmart. However, be sure to read the description before making a purchase, especially on manufacturer sites or from small businesses, as some items may be final sale only.

How did we choose these Cyber Monday deals?

ZDNET only writes about deals we want to buy — devices and products we desire, need, or would recommend. Our experts searched for deals that were at least 20% off (or were hardly ever on sale), utilizing established price comparison tools and trackers to determine whether the deal was actually on sale and how frequently it was discounted.

We also looked over customer reviews to find out what matters to real people who already own and use the deals we’re recommending. Our recommendations may also be based on our own testing — in addition to extensive research and comparison shopping. The goal is to deliver the most accurate advice to help you shop smarter.
