Fall is often a time for new beginnings, and that’s true at Redfin as we welcome more than 50 new agents to the team. I’m really excited about this talented crew—they’ve already hit the ground running to help more people find homes they love, and in turn, build thriving businesses here at Redfin.

    Redfin agent Aaron McCarty

One of the folks we’re excited to welcome is Aaron McCarty, who is joining Redfin for the second time in our San Francisco office! Aaron started his career in hospitality, helping guests enjoy their vacation dreams, but soon realized he wanted to do something bigger: help people find their dream homes. He launched his real estate career with Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams before spending five years as a lead agent at Redfin’s Los Angeles office, where he consistently closed more than two dozen deals a year. After taking a brief hiatus with eXp and Keller Williams, Aaron is ready to get back to Redfin, and we’re lucky to have him.

“Redfin is exactly what I always thought real estate should be,” Aaron said. “It’s a well-oiled machine that feels holistic and seamless, so jumping back in as a boomerang is like slipping on a glove. There have been some exciting changes, too. I know what I’m capable of with Redfin’s tools in hand, and with Rocket behind us I have even more tools to share with my clients. In just two weeks I’ve already helped six fantastic customers. I feel abundance here, and I’m thrilled to be back.”

    Redfin agent David Piché

David Piché is another Newfin joining our Chicago office! With more than 23 years in real estate and nearly 1,000 successful transactions, he brings a wealth of experience to the team. His career has spanned every corner of the industry, from building real estate software right out of college to investing in properties, running his own brokerage doing foreclosure work for major banks, and representing buyers and sellers at RE/MAX, Berkshire Hathaway, and other top Chicago brokerages.

“I’m thrilled to be at Redfin because it lets me focus on what I do best—building relationships with clients and negotiating contracts—while my team supports the rest. Redfin really is a business in a box, with transaction coordinators, concierge services, and management support so I can spend my time where it matters most,” David said. “With Rocket’s integration, the Mr. Cooper acquisition, and Redfin’s unmatched technology and reach, this is the right place at the right time. I’ve joined a family here, with great training, a supportive team, and incredible upside potential. I’m excited to be part of it.”

Aaron and David are two of more than 1,300 agents who have joined Redfin since we rolled out Redfin Next, our game-changing agent pay plan. All Redfin agents get the best of both worlds: big commission splits and customer introductions, technology, marketing, support, and benefits to build your pipeline. We fully committed to Redfin Next because we believe it provides all the ingredients you need to take your business to the next level.

We’ve also been building Redfin Teams, which will help you multiply the effects of Redfin Next. This ensures that successful agent teams can smoothly transition to Redfin without skipping a beat. Hundreds of Redfin agents have joined or formed a team since the program began, and we’re accepting new applications every day.

If you’re looking for a new brokerage to call home, or simply want to learn more about what Redfin has to offer, drop me a line – I’d love to chat with you! Whether you want to join independently or as a team, you can check out open positions or join our talent community to stay in the loop on future opportunities.

Once again, welcome to all our new and returning Redfinnians. With your talent and Redfin’s support, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish together!
